Your QR code opens a permanent link for your store. You can update the catalog or change where scans go without replacing an already printed code. If you change the scan destination to another website, test the printed code again so you know where customers land.

Download and test your code

  1. In the dashboard, open Menu controls, select your store and choose QR Menu.
  2. Find Permanent QR code. Choose Download SVG for a sharp file a print shop can enlarge. PNG and JPEG downloads are also available. Or select a Print size and choose Print or Save PDF for a ready-to-print sheet.
  3. Leave a blank margin around the printed code and choose a dark code on a light background. Avoid folds, glare and tiny prints.
  4. Scan the final printed piece with your own phone from the spot where customers will stand. If it does not scan, try a larger, clearer print before distributing more copies.

The dashboard also shows a Permanent scan URL. Copy it when you need a link that follows the current scan destination. Under Hosted menu and website embed, Copy URL copies the address of your DubMenu phone menu. Share that address in a message or on social media if you want people to open the hosted catalog directly. Changing your scan destination does not change this direct hosted address.

Choose where scans go

Scan destination starts with Hosted QR Menu. To send scans to your own site, select Custom website, enter its secure web address in Custom HTTPS URL, then choose Save Destination. Scan the code again to confirm the new destination. Catalog and branding edits in DubMenu do not edit your own website.

To show your DubMenu menu inside your website, find Website embed code in Hosted menu and website embed, choose Copy Embed Code and paste it into your site's page editor. Open the finished page on a phone and make sure the menu fits. If you need help placing the code on your site, send it to whoever manages your website.

There is no publish step for hosted menu edits. Save a product change, then reload an open customer page to see it. If a scan stops working, check your printed code, the current destination and your QR Menu subscription under Account. Contact us if it still will not open.
