Start with one store and one screen. You can choose colors and add more displays after the first board is working. A TV with a browser and a phone or computer for editing are enough to begin.

Set up your store

  1. Create an account, then sign in to the dashboard. Give your store a name so staff can recognize it.
  2. Open your store, choose Import, then Menu Wizard. Paste a supported menu link and choose Build TV Menu, or open Products and choose + Category and + Add product to enter a few items by hand.
  3. Open TV Design to choose how your board looks. Check names and prices in the preview before showing it to customers.
  4. Open the board on your TV using the address in TV Publishing, or follow the pairing instructions shown on the TV. The TV needs an internet connection and a browser that can stay open.

Your store's catalog belongs to the location, not the TV. If you add a second screen, both screens use that catalog; you can choose different categories for each. See pair a display when you are ready.

Make a first change

On your phone or computer, open the same store in the dashboard. In Products, choose a product, change its price and check the screen. Edits to a connected board appear live; there is no separate publish button for routine changes. If the TV does not change, use troubleshooting to check its connection.

For an existing online menu, follow import your menu before spending time adding products manually. For a hand-entered menu, make a habit of checking prices and stock in Products whenever they change at the store. You can choose a theme later without starting the catalog over.

The TV plan covers one location and up to four displays for $99 per month. See plans and billing to choose a trial and understand how QR Menu fits alongside it.
