Pair and manage your TVs
Connect a screen to the right store and choose what it shows.
On this page
Set your TV to open a full-screen browser page, and keep it connected to the internet. If you have a streaming device with a browser, that works too. The board runs in the browser; you do not need to install a TV app.
Connect your first display
- In the dashboard, open your store and TV Publishing. Find the TV address for the display you want to use.
- Open that address on the TV. If the screen instead shows a pairing code and a scannable square, scan it with your phone and sign in to the account that manages the store.
- If you manage more than one store, choose Which store is this TV for? on your phone. For several displays, choose the matching position under Which display is this?. Connected positions cannot be selected until they disconnect.
- Wait for the menu board, then check that its store name, products and prices belong to this location.
A location can use up to four displays, sharing one catalog. Under Displays, set Number of displays before connecting another TV. Open Choose what shows to choose categories for each display. You can give one screen a different selection while keeping the same products and prices behind every screen. Check each TV after changing its category selection.
If you replace a TV, open the address for its intended display position on the replacement. The same position should not be running on another connected screen. Use the display names in your dashboard to keep track of which screen goes where.
Keep the screen visible
Disable sleep and the screensaver in your TV or streaming-device settings, and leave its browser open on the board. If the TV shows a pairing screen instead of your menu, return to the pairing steps above. If it shows an access message, check plans and billing. For a blank or stale screen, follow troubleshooting before changing your catalog.
