Using DubMenu with Treez and Alpine IQ

How a store on Treez and Alpine IQ puts its menu on DubMenu with a spreadsheet.

Yes, you can use DubMenu if your store runs Treez for point of sale and Alpine IQ for online ordering, with a spreadsheet you keep up to date. DubMenu does not connect to Treez or Alpine IQ directly, so pasting your Alpine IQ or website menu link will not build a live board. DubMenu says so if you try.

Set it up

1. In Treez, choose the right store, open Catalog → Products → Catalog Export and download the product list. If you do not see Catalog Export, ask Treez support to turn it on.
2. In DubMenu, open Import → Import from a spreadsheet (CSV) and download the template. Make one row for each size you want on the board: category, product name and your current store price are required. Add weight, THC and brand when you have them.
3. Mark sold-out items with false in the instock column, or add a quantity column and DubMenu treats zero as out of stock. Compare with what your Alpine IQ online menu actually shows before you upload.
4. Upload the file, read any skipped-row messages, then open Products and check the menu against Treez.

Two things to know. Treez stock and prices do not flow into DubMenu afterwards: update Products by hand or upload a fresh checked file when things change. And a CSV upload does not bring product photos, so add pictures in Products. Keep your Alpine IQ link for customers who order online.
